I’ve run websites for decades. My largest was an equine news and competition results site I launched in 2000, alongside some web design clients. Thanks, Jason, I can totally relate to health issues getting tin the way of your career. I was a terrible migraineur. I still get them sometimes when I’ve worked too long on my PC or when I’m stressed too much.
The stress of completing big projects is what got me down with a three-day migraine. I had meds to temper them, but when you get a migraine that you feel down your back on the side it gets you, you’ve got it for three-days.
I can do great work, but migraines are my issue that keep me from advancing and got me downsized – it was tough for my employer to pay for the sick time I took even though I always had a bunch of sick days left cuz of my higher corporate position. My poor son has them really bad.
